Look at the photo of Florence Rampou and her cooperative in South Africa: “Women who work hard.” This is the REAL story. They are innovating, leading, and fighting to survive while the system IGNORES them. From Africa to Asia, women farmers are the first to adopt climate solutions, yet they are the LAST to get loans or own the dirt they till.
Who benefits from this silence? Powerful agribusinesses and corrupt local officials. They profit from a status quo that treats these vital women as invisible slave labor. The UN’s so-called “International Year of the Woman Farmer” is a hollow political stunt unless it forces one thing: RAW POWER.
The evidence is screaming at us. Giving women equal resources would slash global hunger. But the gatekeepers REFUSE to let go. They’d rather let the world burn than share control with a woman farmer.
