Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox attended a special screening with a lovable furry friends named Gus the Dog!
The three stars of the new movie Merv were in NYC at The Crosby for the event on Monday (December 8), which was hosted by Elias Weiss Friedman of The Dogist.

Merv is a PG-rated movie coming to Prime Video globally this month.
“When their beloved dog Merv loses his spark after their split, Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox) are forced into the world’s most awkward co-parenting arrangement. Hoping to shake Merv out of his funk, Russ takes him to Florida for a much-needed getaway—only for Anna to show up unexpectedly. As Merv slowly gets his groove back, turns out fixing their dog’s broken heart may lead to a few sparks of their own,” reads the synopsis.
The film was directed by Jessica Swale and written by Dane Clark and Linsey Stewart. Chris Redd and Patricia Heaton also star.
