You don’t have to literally believe in karmic intervention to watch it play out in real time. It’s often hilarious when it happens!
Maybe you’ve experienced something like it while driving, as it often seems to happen while on the road. You’re driving along, checking your rearview mirror and driving cautiously, when suddenly, in the distance, you hear that whiny-engine sound of a car going 40 miles over the speed limit. You brace yourself for the inevitable: the speeding car weaves between the lanes without a care in the world until it eventually passes you, too. These drivers drive me insane! They do not care about the safety of anyone else on the road. All they care about is pushing that speedometer to the limit.
Luckily, cops are thrilled to put a stop to this kind of driver. Once they get a view of the license plate, it’s all over. That driver will face a pricey ticket, get some points knocked off their license, or maybe will even have some kind of legal action taken against them. The schadenfreude is so delicious. Now that haughty driver is sweating, handing over their license and registration with shaky hands, trying to convince the officer that they really, truly didn’t realize they were going 115 in a 55 miles per hour zone. Good luck with that, pal!
These people were also subject to the whims of karmic intervention! Some told their finest driving-related stories, while others had smaller-scale stories.
For example, one person was rolling their eyes at someone who had a cracked phone. They are unsightly. Sometimes you see a phone whose glass screen is in so many pieces it looks unusable, yet you’ll still see the owner typing away a text on it. Modern electronics are a marvel. My phone screen’s glass protector is cracked right this very second, due to me dropping it at least 3 or 4 times per day. Doesn’t everyone do that? It can’t just be me… Anyway, this person felt that sense of judgment in their heart, only to turn around and shatter their own phone screen. Whoops!
