Although we’re tempted to read all this ‘missing the flight’ thing as a textbook example of a Freudian slip, we have to be careful to try to give the benefit of the doubt and consider the possibility that it was just a mistake. The guy is being very quick to determine he wants out of the relationship, and I kinda admire him for it. I wish I had been so quick to leave one or two situationships from my past…Anyways, I digress, I don’t think his final decision is exclusively related to this incident, and I support him for it. In any case, long-distance relationships are hard, and life is very short. Shouldn’t we try to enjoy it as much as we can and not waste it trying to make someone catch flights they don’t want to catch? Oh wow, I think I learned something from this guy today…
