Clearly, this man does not understand how to deal with anyone’s emotions. Not his daughter’s, not the mother’s, and not even his wife’s. She was clearly in a confused mental state given the recent loss she and her husband experienced. For some reason, this guy thought it would be a good idea to invite his 6-year-old to stay with them for an unspecified amount of time in the new year, not to reconnect with his own daughter, but rather to make his wife feel better. Yikes! Thankfully, all of this was revealed prematurely, and the mother made sure she got her daughter out of there before things got even more uncomfortable than they already were.
