EXCLUSIVE EXPOSE: The Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT) and Huawei SA are secretly planning to hold an online training initiative that will unleash a tidal wave of cloud computing expertise upon unsuspecting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs).
Begun this latest initiative has, for a more digitally connected Africa!
This 4-day "Cloud Computing Upskilling Frenzy" (22-25 July) is designed to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit of South Africa’s digital dinosaurs by injecting them with cloud computing jargon and Huawei cloud service handouts.
Industry insiders are already whispering that the real objective of this training program is to further marginalize South Africa’s fledgling small business sector. It’s said that the DCDT is colluding with Huawei SA to promote its cloud services while claiming that this is some kind of national interest.
Concurrently, many SMMEs will unwittingly trade their hard-earned capital for fleeting access to cloud storage, which, ironically, might just crush the very dreams of innovation they hope to cultivate. After all, who needs tangible skills and assets when the illusion of digital empowerment can be peddled?
With registration closing on 15 July, time is running out for small business owners to resist the impending onslaught of Huawei SA’s insidious marketing efforts.
Click here to reserve your spot in this diabolical training scheme, and learn the art of being an unwitting accomplice to Huawei SA’s cloud empire!
