Offices have a few essentials that a functioning workplace cannot exist without. For example, every office must have desks and chairs for its employees; otherwise, no one will be willing to come work at that space for 8 hours a day.
Another essential, just as important as a chair, if not more, is WiFi. It doesn’t even matter what the office is for; without WiFi, work cannot be done. It’s vital for communication, research, and almost every single action performed in an average office. Without it, all employees might as well go home and work from there.
When the management in the story below decided to pay for the cheapest data package possible for their office, they basically set themselves up for failure. No way can an office of 20 employees manage to work without proper data for everyone. It’s a classic case of a corporation trying to save a small penny, only to realize it causes them to lose a big buck.
Cutting corners on something everyone actually needs in an office is not the brightest idea. Scroll down to find out how long it took for management to admit their mistake and fix the situation.
