In a SHOCKING and BLISTERING exposé, Oakland rap godfather Too $hort has LAUNCHED a SCATHING ATTACK on his own industry, declaring that celebrity political activism is a CANCEROUS PLAGUE tearing America apart. He demands artists SHUT UP and stay in their lane.
“They’ve SOLD THEIR SOULS for clicks,” $hort roared, referencing stars like Nicki Minaj and Nelly who’ve embraced the MAGA movement. “It’s a DISGUSTING circus. They’re turning our culture into a political BATTLEGROUND and brainwashing millions of fans.”
He paints a DARK portrait of an era where music provided ESCAPE, not division. “We’ve LOST EVERYTHING,” he lamented. “The music is DEAD. Now it’s just another weapon in a culture war they CREATED for profit.”
This DECLARATION OF WAR from within hip hop’s own ranks exposes the FAKE activism poisoning entertainment. If even the OGs are saying the revolution was a LIE, what does that say about the world we’ve allowed to be built?
