Joe Ceballos, the former mayor of Coldwater, was snatched by ICE during a routine meeting in Wichita. His crime? Admitting he voted in elections, unaware that his green card status disqualified him. “Let Joe go!” supporters screamed, holding signs that read “We Support Mayor Joe” as he was led away. “I don’t know where they’re going to take me,” Ceballos told reporters, his voice filled with fear.

They accuse Ceballos of LYING on voter forms and his citizenship application—claims his lawyer fiercely denies, stating he was simply misled during a school trip to register to vote at age 18.
