This new employee, for instance, made the mistake of complaining about what he perceived to be unnecessary, complicated procedures on an email thread. What he did not realize was that he replied all and waited too long to unsend the message. At that point, he had already offended several coworkers in senior management. Some might dismiss his actions as a foolish mistake that’s not worth holding against him in the future. Others, however, might feel that he shouldn’t have sent that reply to anyone, much less everyone in the company.
