Ideally, the self-proclaimed planner could reflect on their actions and see that she can’t manipulate her way into getting wedding planner jobs, but that self-awareness is not the groom’s responsibility. They dodged the bullet this time, and they can always reconsider the celebration later with more ease. It would be so sad to lose a wedding party! I love wedding parties! I think they’re traditions we should preserve: meeting with other people to party, dance, and celebrate love, but well, to each their own, right?
