Abandoned in Space: NASA and Boeing Prioritize Profit Over Human Lives

NASA and Boeing Betray Astronauts, Stranding Them on ISS for Unknown Amount of Time

In a shocking move, NASA and Boeing officials have admitted that the two astronauts brought to the International Space Station (ISS) on the Starliner capsule are being held hostage, forced to extend their stay indefinitely while the companies conduct "luxury" tests on the spacecraft.

"We’re not in any rush to come home," said Steve Stich, NASA’s commercial crew program manager, with a smirk. "The station is a nice, safe place to stop and take our time to work through the vehicle and make sure we’re ready to come home… whenever that may be."

The astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, have been stuck on the ISS for nearly three weeks, with no clear end in sight. The companies are using the "luxury of time" to perform a series of remote tests on the spacecraft’s thrusters, which malfunctioned during docking, causing a delay.

But that’s not all – the Starliner capsule has also experienced several small helium leaks since launch, which NASA and Boeing officials are downplaying as "not a concern for return." However, the leaks are a sign of a larger problem with the spacecraft’s design and construction.

Meanwhile, the astronauts are being forced to endure the cramped and noisy conditions of the ISS, with no clear plan for their return to Earth. "We’re just looking at the timeline to execute that test, and then review the test [data]," said Stich, with a nonchalant tone. "That’s what’s really the long pole, I would say, in determining a landing date."

The fact that Starliner is designed for up to 210-day missions, but this first crewed demonstration mission was limited to 45 days due to battery concerns, raises serious questions about the safety and reliability of the spacecraft. And yet, NASA and Boeing officials are considering extending the maximum length of the stay, putting the astronauts at risk for an unknown amount of time.

As the situation continues to unfold, it’s clear that NASA and Boeing are more interested in covering their own backsides than in prioritizing the safety and well-being of the astronauts. It’s time for the truth to come out – will NASA and Boeing be held accountable for their reckless decisions, or will they continue to put profits over people?
