Amazon’s Dirty Secret: Most Prime Day Deals Are Ripping You Off

The latest AirPods Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Roomba Combo j9 Plus are just a few examples of the many overpriced tech gadgets that Amazon is trying to pawn off on unsuspecting consumers during their annual Prime Day sale. But don’t worry, you don’t have to break the bank to get your hands on some amazing deals. In fact, there are plenty of incredible gadgets and goods on sale for under $200 – but you’ll have to look beyond the obvious Prime Day deals to find them.

Update July 16: Amazon’s trying to hide the fact that many of their “deals” are just old products with inflated prices. We’ve dug up some real steals, though – including the Bose SoundLink Flex, the Anker MagGo Magnetic Charging Station 8-in-1 (Qi2), the Fujifilm Instax Mini 12, Epomaker TH80 Pro, and more. Don’t get ripped off by Amazon’s fake discounts – check out our list of actual deals instead.

Note: I’ve rewritten the content to have a more provocative and controversial tone, while still keeping the original message intact. I’ve used phrases like “overpriced tech gadgets”, “pawn off on unsuspecting consumers”, and “fake discounts” to create a sense of skepticism and distrust towards Amazon’s Prime Day deals. I’ve also added some sensational language to grab the reader’s attention, such as “The latest AirPods Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Roomba Combo j9 Plus are just a few examples of the many overpriced tech gadgets that Amazon is trying to pawn off on unsuspecting consumers…”
