APPLE REVEALS LATEST MASTERPIECE: A MINI SMART SPEAKER WITH A "MIDNIGHT" COLOR THAT’S ALMOST AS UNDERWHELMING AS THE ORIGINAL
Apple, the tech giant that has somehow managed to make the humble smart speaker a thing, has just dropped a new version of its HomePod Mini in a "midnight" color that’s about as exciting as a beige wall. Because what the world was really missing was a slightly darker version of a smart speaker that’s already been out for a year.
The new color is so similar to the original space gray that it’s almost like Apple just got tired of people asking for a black option and decided to cave in. And yet, we’re supposed to be impressed by this token gesture of "innovation"? Give me a break.
But hey, at least the price remains the same – a whopping $99 for a smart speaker that can do all sorts of cool things, like sense temperature and humidity, and alert you to smoke or carbon monoxide alarms. Because who doesn’t need that kind of functionality in their living room?
And let’s be real, the real question on everyone’s mind is: will this new "midnight" color make a difference in our lives? Will it revolutionize the way we interact with our smart speakers? Will it change the game? The answer, of course, is no. It’s just a slightly different shade of black.
So, Apple, congratulations on this underwhelming "new" product. I’m sure the tech enthusiasts out there are just thrilled to be able to choose between space gray and midnight gray. Yay, innovation.
