According to “reliable sources” (aka Mark Gurman’s crystal ball), Apple is planning a launch event on September 10th that will blow our minds with the new iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods. But will it be enough to distract us from the fact that Apple has been playing catch-up with Samsung and Google for years? And what about the environmental impact of all these new devices?
And don’t even get me started on the MacBook Pro laptops. With the M4 chip, we can expect even more processing power and efficiency. But will it be enough to justify the astronomical prices Apple charges for these machines? And what about the poor souls stuck with 8GB RAM models – will they be left behind in the dust of progress?
