Betrayal Exposed: Opposition Unity COLLAPSES in Power Grab Ahead of Critical Vote

The Democratic Party has SHATTERED its alliance with the minor Rebuilding Korea Party in a cold, calculated move. Just weeks before a high-stakes local election, the ruling party has DITCHED crucial merger talks, leaving its supposed partner out in the cold and questioning everything.

In a KBS photo captured from a tense party meeting at the National Assembly, DP leader Jung Chung-rae delivered the shocking verdict: merger talks are officially ON HOLD until after the June elections. He claimed this followed the “will of the party’s lawmakers,” but his weak apology for the “turmoil” rings hollow. This is pure political betrayal, dressed up as a desperate plea for “unity.” Now, the DP demands everyone fall in line and “unite solely for victory.”

But the damage is done. The Rebuilding Korea Party’s leader, Cho Kuk, fired back, demanding to know if the DP’s calls for solidarity are just empty slogans. He stated his party was “hurt” by the DP’s internal conflict and warned this “should never happen again.” These are the words of a man who was just stabbed in the back.

Why does this matter? This isn’t just political drama—it’s a dangerous pattern. The ruling party talks about unity but practices division, sacrificing a key alliance to secure its own power. They are gambling the nation’s political stability for a short-term win, showing they CANNOT be trusted. The public is left watching as backroom deals determine their future.

This is what happens when politicians prioritize power over the people.
