That being said, if your desire is merely to put someone in their place, you might not get the response you’re expecting.
This dude even admitted that he didn’t want the mother to quit. In fact, he’d be totally lost without her, which is precisely why she knew she needed to leave him in the dust. After all, if he was going to start playing games by punishing her for not completing work that wasn’t even part of her job description, how would she be expected to meet this guy’s expectations?Â
Of course, it’s worth acknowledging that this woman was in a privileged position in that she was able to leave on the spot without feat of what comes next.
