This person’s in an odd predicament. They claim that their software job requires them to have certain devices, which they used to get shipped to them. Pretty standard, right? Most companies have no problem with sending things in the mail. It’s for the worker’s convenience, and oftentimes an assistant or someone will manage that task so that the other employee can carry on with their usual day-to-day projects.
For some reason, though, this person’s bosses know where they live, and they want them to drive to get their equipment, instead of having it delivered. I mean, okay, weird, but whatever the boss says goes! Malicious compliance it is.
