We’ve all been there, or at least I’ve been. You are doing something with the best of intentions that you think is going to solve a big issue, and in the end, you are met with resistance from the receiving end. It’s hard to accommodate a completely different way of working without prior notification. I think this is the girls’ only mistake, not saying anything to anybody. That also constitutes her one and only challenge: to come clean about it.
Honestly, it will probably be like ripping off a Band-Aid. She can totally prepare a pitch on how that new organization will be so much easier to work with, and after everybody has cooled down, the benefits of it will probably shine through.
