As several members of this online community pointed out, the author should have taken at least half of his frustrations and directed them toward his friend, Brian. As you’ll see below, the author explains that Brian had the tendency to eat more than his fair share when offered to take some food from someone else’s plate. 

The fact that this is something Brian has become known for among their circle of friends is quite honestly anxiety-inducing. Can you imagine if that were a central part of your reputation as a friend? It sounds like Brian is fully unaware that his friends regularly talk behind his back this way, which also says something about the general level of transparency within this group. Not only would I personally not want to be in this relationship, but I would also not want to be in this friend group!
