With great disdain, he announced that all pending alterations would be shelved (literally, into an underground zip file) and there won’t be any new hacking shenanigans coming down the tubes.
The site will linger, in a coma-like state known as “read-only mode.” If fans still want to indulge in digital hacktivism, though, they can always venture across to The Internet Archive, where an “Incredible” 11.7gb zip file is waiting. The real culprit according to Nightcrawler? His arduous, 24-7 “infinite inbox’ of submissions, as well as burdensome legal obligations. He further blasted the group of would-be reformers, who had been wooed to take over the reins – he claims they had secretly worked on a plan to silence him permanently using a most sinister act “doxxing, with one member defending them on X
