Posting in r/MaliciousCompliance, a server working in an upscale restaurant dealt with a diner who gave them very specific instructions as to the type of service that he wanted. He said that he was on a first date, and he expected minimal interruptions when he was with his date.

The server agreed, but quickly faced the man’s disapproval when they explained the drinks menu to his date at her request. From that point on, they decided to be more hands-off, with consequences that the customer certainly didn’t intend.
