I think we sometimes fixate on one of our partners’ defects when our limitations are about other things- might be commitment or simple desire, but, well, I might be invalidating this man’s discomfort. Either way, I think we should always orient ourselves towards action, and the consequences of our actions will be the biggest clarification we can receive. If we made the wrong decision, we will know, and we’ll be able to act accordingly. If we decide something and suddenly feel relieved, we will know we made the right decision; that’s it. I know this is a rather radical way of going through life, and it’s not that I’m against thought; I’m pro thought, but I think it should always result in movement of some sort, even if it’s little, because abstractions can lead to too many imaginary outcomes, and we need concrete direction. Life is all about movement.
