Paramount Plus: The Greedy Monster Behind the Price Hike
You’re on the clock, folks! Today’s the last day to subscribe to Paramount Plus at the current rate before they jack up the prices. The subscription service, which is nothing more than a cash-grabber, is increasing its prices tomorrow, August 20th.
For those who are still unaware, the once-affordable Paramount Plus is increasing its prices across the board. Paramount Plus Essential is now going to cost a whopping $7.99 a month, a whopping 33% increase from the previous $5.99. And don’t even get me started on Paramount Plus with Showtime, which is jumping to a staggering $12.99 a month, a 100% increase!
But wait, there’s more! For the true suckers, er, "loyal customers", who continue to subsribe, they’re offering a "limited time" 30-day free trial. Yes, that’s right, you’ll get to pay even more for the privilege of using the service for a whole month!
Now, I know what you’re thinking. What’s the big deal? Well, let me tell you, folks. For $5.99 a month, you’re getting a whole lot of content, including TV shows like Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek: Picard, and a whole lot more. But don’t get too excited, you’re still stuck with commercials and no option to download content. And let’s not forget about Paramount Plus with Showtime, which still has the same commercials but adds some extra premium channels.
But hey, at least you get to watch some news and sports, right? I mean, who doesn’t love watching the latest scandals and sports highlights while they’re being ripped off?
In conclusion, Paramount Plus is nothing more than a greedy monster that’s preying on innocent consumers. But hey, at least we can all laugh at the absurdity of it all.
