PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA DECLARES EMERGENCY OVER WHILE MILLIONS ARE LEFT FOR DEAD IN JOBS BLOODBATH

President Cyril Ramaphosa stood before the nation last night and told a story of recovery. His message: the crisis is over. But for the MILLIONS trapped in permanent unemployment, his speech was a SLAP IN THE FACE and a dangerous fantasy.

New data shows ONE GRIM TRUTH they want you to ignore. The so-called “stabilisation” is a MYTH for ordinary people. The official unemployment rate is STUCK above 30%. For the expanded definition, including those who have given up, it’s a CRUSHING 40%. Youth unemployment is a TICKING TIME BOMB. While the President talks of macroeconomic gains, an ENTIRE GENERATION is being sacrificed.

“There was nothing really structural,” slammed political economist Dale McKinley, cutting through the government’s spin. He warns that without massive policy shifts, this unemployment is permanent.

Who wins? The big corporations and international investors cheered by credit rating upgrades. Who loses? The everyday South African watching promises evaporate. The president mentioned a R1 trillion infrastructure plan, but expert Daniel Meyer, professor of economics, delivered the KILLER BLOW: “It’s not nearly enough.”

The government is quietly admitting failure by making the Social Relief of Distress grant PERMANENT—a life raft for a drowning population they cannot and WILL NOT save with real jobs.

They have stabilized the numbers for their balance sheets while DESTABILIZING the future of a nation.

The cold, calculated consolidation he boasts of is built on the backs of the forgotten.
