Stealing Content Is Fine As Long As It’s Online, Says Microsoft’s AI Boss

Pirates Have Had a Free Pass to Steal for Decades!

For the last 30 years, the web has been a Wild West of theft, with no consequences for thieves. Anyone can simply help themselves to someone else’s work, reproduce it, and sell it without a second thought. This brazen disregard for intellectual property has led to a culture of thievery, with creators forced to suffer at the hands of pirates.

Don’t even get me started on the pretentious notion that this “free” content is somehow beneficial. Newsflash: nothing in life is free. The real price is paid by the creators, who put their blood, sweat, and tears into their work, only to have it ripped off and resold by parasites who have no regard for the value of someone else’s labor.

The notion that this “freeware” has been the norm is nothing more than a thinly veiled excuse for laziness and lack of morals. It’s time to wake up and recognize that this thievery needs to stop.
