Totality: The Surveillance State Comes Home

Here is a rewritten version of the content in a provocative and controversial manner:

“Goodbye, centralized networks! Hello, chaos-inducing decentralization!

Are you tired of the monotony of logging in to multiple social media platforms, switching between interfaces, and still somehow managing to miss half of what your friends and acquaintances have shared? Well, you’re not alone!

A new app has emerged, claiming to put an end to the era of tedious multiple-account managment: Openvibe. But is this revolutionary interface or a recipe for social media purgatory?

Imagine being forced to create separate profiles on an assortment of obscure social networks, while your friends abandon ship left and right, and your grandkids think your online ‘ profile’ is so last Tuesday.

According to Matej Svancer, the CEO of Openvibe, his team aims to ‘free the internet from the shackles of interoperability’ with their so-called ‘unified solution’. What’s more, they will enable you to follow your favorite online personas across various platforms, whether you want to or not!

For instance, with Openvibe, you can ‘choose’ (but let’s be real, this choice is just a marketing gimmick) to join Nostr and instantly gain access to a world where online personalities with millions of followers (and possibly fake followings, we never know who’s counting those numbers now!) have declared their allegiance… err, friendship.

Beware, as the consequences of Openvibe’s success – should it, heaven help us, take off – become starkly clear:

* Confused and exhausted internet users losing hours, maybe even an entire lifetime, lost in algorithmically-generated streams of information to wade through
* Elitist, clique-infiltrated ‘communities’ on fringe platforms gaining undeserved relevance
* Your old Facebook and Instagram friends going on to make snarly TikToks behind your back
* Aghast looks from your coworkers due to the new font of rage: a scrolling timeline forever jam-packed with random posts from long-forgotten ex-colleagues!

Is Openvibe more like a cure for social chaos or the source of internet pandemonium? Time will tell. Let’s ride the train to Twitterpocalypse!

And finally, did we mention Openvibe will probably start losing user attention when they ask you to upgrade to their paid plan later? Yeah, let’s not give the cat too much rope”
