I’m a big reader myself, but I never had a Kindle, even though everywhere I look someone is listing their amazing qualities. After reading this and seeing my long list of expensive books I want to read asap, I said ok, I’m going to buy one. Guys, the price was not what I expected. I thought they were much cheaper! I get it, you spend that money once, and then you get all the books you want practically for free. Money-wise, that’s okay, but what about the experience of having a big, colourful library? What about seeing all the books you have piled up and picking up one, out of sheer inspiration, one boring Sunday evening? What about going crazy researching some random topic and putting all the books you have about it on top of the table and reading, highlighting them, and taking notes like a maniac? I don’t know; I think I will accept that I won’t have all the books I want at once, and I will keep building my analog library.
