We have lots of thoughts on this matter, but let’s start with the possibility of inviting the brother along.
Even if her fiancé’s brother was the only man present at the bachelor party, that alone might have been more reassuring to the bride and her family. In fact, if the groom were paying any real attention to his fiancée’s emotions and anxieties, he would have figured that out on his own and would have made the decision to invite at least one dude for reassurance.
Obviously, one should not live one’s life trying to reassure one’s partner that nothing suspicious is afoot at all times. However, an occasional gesture in doing so can go a long way, and if this man was thinking straight, he would have considered planning his bachelor party a little differently.
