Actions are a big way of communicating, right? Sometimes, one wants to twist reality and interpret things in many ways, but I think it’s always advisable to take things at face value. If your friends don’t include you, if you feel insulted or walked all over, you should take that as information, and a talk might not be necessary. Sometimes, when we talk to people in situations like this, we are told we’re crazy, and things stay the same, so I always think boundaries should come in the form of actions. It’s weird that OP feels guilty for ghosting after all that; she did what she had to do, they left her with no options, and also they didn’t come looking for her afterwards.
