Instead of getting help with her baby, this Mom shares that she’s been doing most of the cleaning for her messy extended family. She’s got 0 privacy, no break from all of this mess and pressure, and now…her husband just made things much, much worse.
For some reason — and I cannot fathom why he thought this was a smart move — he invited his former boss, the boss’s wife, their 2 children, and their dog to visit over Valentine’s weekend. Yikes! The husband must be a supremely extroverted kinda guy to want everyone in his personal space like this.
Understandably, this woman is beyond stressed out over the whole thing. Of course the internet loves to tell people to divorce their partners at the first sign of struggle, and I don’t think this woman should, but she truly needs to find a way to get her own space to herself. If she divorces that husband and get a 50/50 custody split, she could have 2 free weekends each month, while the husband hosts everybody and their mother at his home. I wonder if he would still enjoy hosting if he was the one handling all the cooking and cleaning.
