MOBILE CARRIERS CAUSE CHAOS ABROAD: CUSTOMERS LEFT STRANDED AS COMPANIES POINT FINGERS

In a stunning display of incompetence, the big three US mobile carriers – Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile – have left thousands of customers stranded and unable to connect to data roaming internationally. The crisis has been unfolding for hours, with complaints pouring in across social media and little to no response from the carriers.

But don’t worry, the companies are "aware" of the issue. AT&T spokesperson Keoni Holoman issued a statement blaming an unnamed third party for the problem, claiming that the issue is "outside the AT&T network." How convenient. Meanwhile, Verizon’s support team tweeted that they’re "actively working with local providers to resolve the issue," but it’s unclear what that actually means.

T-Mobile, on the other hand, has chosen to remain silent, refusing to provide a response to our questions that met our standard for publishing. It’s unclear what they’re hiding, but it’s clear that they’re not taking responsibility for the mess they’ve created.

As customers continue to suffer, it’s clear that the big three mobile carriers are more interested in pointing fingers than fixing the problem. It’s time for them to take responsibility and get their act together. Until then, thousands of customers will be left stranded and unable to connect to the world.
