Maybe this is just a girls girl thing, but when you are part of the wedding party, it is an unspoken rule that you do not wear the dress you are going to wear for the event to anywhere else prior to the wedding. Whether you are buying the dress out of your own pocket or not, it’s just courteous. It shows that you are excited for your friend’s wedding and you want to do your part to make it feel special. That means wearing a new dress. Some brides can be more zilla than others, requiring you to make a huge purchase for their event. But this bride was not doing that at all! She even bought their dresses for them. She didn’t think she would have to tell one of them that she cannot wear it out beforehand. Unfortunately, she was wearing it to all kinds of events way before the actual wedding.
It’s not only disappointing for the bride, but this bridesmaid is also risking ruining the dress with stains or fading before the wedding.
