The PC community is on the verge of a crisis as Ubisoft unveils the brutally demanding PC requirements for Star Wars Outlaws, a game that promises to consume your hard drive and ravage your GPU like a Rebel Alliance assault on a Imperial Star Destroyer.
A “new” gameplay trailer has been dropped, but we won’t hold our breath waiting for any genuine revelations about the story or gameplay mechanics. What we are getting, however, is a side-by-side comparison of the game’s visuals when DLSS is enabled and disabled, and let’s be real, who needs storytelling when you can have fancy graphics, right?
And speaking of which, the system requirements are a real game-changer – or rather, system-destroyer. It seems you’ll need at least a GeForce RTX 3070 and an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X just to run the game at a measly 30 FPS. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the required 16 GB of RAM – more like 64 GB if you want to survive the experience unscathed.
In other words, you’ll need a custom-built PC that’s still in beta testing to play Star Wars Outlaws. But hey, who needs quality gameplay when you can have shiny graphics and a title that screams “Imperial Overlords”? It’s like Ubisoft is trying to prove that the Force is more powerful than our wallets.
