Is this the biggest workplace mistake ever made? 

Employees never want to be left behind their contemporaries. They never want to be that person in the meeting who’s totally clueless about new tech, or the clueless boss whose employees are running circles around them thanks to the hottest tech on the market. 

However… there’s clearly a case to be made that caution is needed in any circumstances involving new tech, and AI adoption has just been the latest example of this. 

AI does seem to work well for a lot of things, and therefore, bosses have started replacing their employees with Claude and other AI agents. 

But we’ve learned that these AI agents are happy to make things up instead of telling workers when they’re wrong. 

There are cases where employees have told their agents to compile spreadsheets, only to realize after their big pitch meetings that the agent fabricated the numbers!

And now, there are reports that someone has made one of the most wasteful and expensive mishaps ever heard of.
