I think if he had waited just a little longer, things would be different for him. Maybe the ‘teenager’ would have made more mistakes, and it would’ve been obvious to the manager and to everyone that the one making the mistakes was him. I don’t know, but maybe the teenager was like a wake-up call for the employee to leave the company before it sucks his soul out, and look for a job where at least he’s not getting yelled at by teenagers. So maybe the teenager was like an angel to him? Lol.
