Sometimes people just tell you who they are, and it’s important to listen to them when they do. You might be so startled that you think they’re joking. But when you look into their eyes, you can see that they are not joking in the slightest. They’re telling the truth, and it’s up to you to decide what to do with that information. 

In cases like this, it’s probably best to underreact, which is exactly what this person did. They didn’t flip out or try to insult this woman back. They really handled this in the perfect way!
