Upon the grandmother’s untimely demise, her lawyer read the terms of the will to the entire family, and let’s just say that the author’s parents and sister were taken aback by what they heard. The grandmother wound up giving the vast majority of her assets to the author and specifically mentioned in her will that the author deserved this after being mistreated by her other family members for so many years.
