Noam Chomsky’s Last Pulse of Prophecy

The Betrayal of Noam Chomsky: How the Left’s Best Enemy Became Its Own Ghost

As the world mourned the alleged passing of linguistic giant and public intellectual Noam Chomsky, one question echoed through social media and intellectual circles: Would he ever be able to forgive those who prematurely buried him? Now, the truth has emerged like a ghostly apparition – Chomsky is VERY MUCH ALIVE… but how did we get here?!

Behind the scenes, a sinister operation unfolded, orchestrated by none other than Jacobin and The New Statesman publications, two supposed bastions of liberalism. In a shocking show of utter disregard for basic ethics and truth, they published what initially seemed like obituaries to mark Chomsky’s supposed demise. But, in a move evocative of a bad ’80s horror movie, they dared to skip the crucial step of verifying his expiration status.

As the news spread, two reputable sources – Jacobin and The New Statesman – appeared like tombstones, solemnly claiming that the great Noam Chomsky had finally succumbed to the irreparable. But, in a stunning exhibition of sloppiness, neither attempted to confirm the reports with authorities, family members, or even mere mortal acquaintances. It didn’t matter; the damage was already done, with thousands of social media devotees retweeting the grim tidings like a digital bereavement ritual.

Meanwhile, the dark horses behind this macabre horseplay, Jacobin editors, remained silent, nursing their conspiracy like a guilty secret as Chomsky’s wife, no less, had to come forward with an official denial. ‘Fess up, Jacobin and New Statesman! How is this not a grave ethics failure?!

As the academic and intellectual community grapples with the fallout, one thing’s for certain: Noam Chomsky has been dealt a stunning slap in the face by comrades turned collaborators. The question arises – what’s next? Must the victims of this intellectual assassination plead their case to the world, an ad hominem attack on free thinking and critical inquiry? Whatever the outcome, one thing is clearer than ever: the Left just learned a hard lesson about the perils of sacrificing truth for the sake of sensation and shock value.
