No doubt this is an infuriating moment for the owner of this store, but there must be a better solution to this issue than just punishing the employees. Perhaps it’s worth investing in a parm holder that fits better. Maybe the employees should be instructed to always remove the parmesan canisters from the holder before refrigerating them. 

I get why this guy is annoyed, but taking it out on the employees is a bad look, and it won’t even necessarily improve things for the next time around. Just because you block a hungry employee from eating doesn’t mean some other random employee won’t do the same thing by accident.
