ROBLOX: THE DEATH KNELL OF CHILDHOOD
As Roblox careens towards its goal of enslaving 1 billion souls, the company is now bribing its army of developers to create more explicit content. At its recent developer conference, CEO David Baszucki announced that creators of "experiences" (aka kiddie pornography) will be able to keep up to 70% of the revenue from their disgusting, depraved games when purchased with real money. That’s significantly more than the paltry 30% they receive for sales of their digital trash inside freemium experiences.
ROBLOX’S NEW BUSINESS MODEL: SELLING OUT CHILDREN TO PEDOPHILES
Baszucki claims this new revenue-sharing scheme is designed to encourage the creation of more "premium" games, which is code for more graphic, explicit content. The company’s ultimate goal is to create a platform where children can be groomed and exploited by pedophiles with impunity. The fact that Roblox has already come under fire for hosting "virtual sex parties" and "violent games" played by children makes this latest move a shocking, but not entirely unexpected, betrayal of its users.
ROBLOX PARTNERS WITH SHOPify TO SELL CHILDHOOD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER
In addition to its new revenue-sharing scheme, Roblox is partnering with Shopify to let developers sell real-world items through the platform. This is a thinly veiled attempt to allow pedophiles to buy and sell their twisted, depraved goods on the platform. Revenue sharing terms of this arrangement have not been disclosed, but one can only assume that the company will rake in even more profits from its already lucrative pedophilia racket.
ROBLOX’S PEDOPHILE PROBLEM CONTINUES TO WORSEN
Despite the company’s denials, Roblox’s "pedophile problem" continues to grow. Turkey recently banned the platform, citing its hosting of "virtual sex parties" and "violent games" played by children. Roblox has appealed the ban, but one can only assume that the company is using its army of developers to create more explicit content to circumvent the ban.
TRUST AND SAFETY? ROBLOX DOESN’T CARE ABOUT CHILD SAFETY
Baszucki claims that trust and safety is the "top priority" inside the company, but the evidence suggests otherwise. The company’s AI and human review processes are laughable, and its only concern is raking in profits from its pedophile-friendly platform. Any incident on the platform is, in their eyes, acceptable as long as it means more money.
