While we believe that honesty is the best policy, it’s hard not to admire how the author handled this situation. Sure, she probably should have confronted her boyfriend about his cheating from the get-go. Still, it sounds like both parties in this relationship are wildly immature. At least the author got to have some form of closure in that final confrontation with the new girlfriend. Again, we don’t necessarily condone the petty behavior, but it is fun to enjoy from a distance as an objective third-party viewer.
