The fact that she is doubting so much is what inclines me in favour of ceasing to insist. We should let things that want to leave, leave. Maybe later, the friend has more availability and starts thinking of her more often, and if she is still available, then they can reconnect, but for now, it’s only a painful scenario. I don’t even think the ‘passive’ friend necessarily has something against her, maybe she is just busy with another stuff, or maybe yes, there is an element of unrequited friendship, but if that’s the case, the other friend would still benefit of letting her go, because if she never does come back, she will be so caught up with her own life, that will soften the blow. So yes, another lesson about letting go, guys! Life keeps telling us that! Or is it just me?
